What type of loan is right for me?
There are hundreds of loans out there, but which is right for you? Many loans are much the same but with different names, however there are some important differences, and these differences can mean the difference between the perfect loan for you, and a disaster...

|

Fixed Loan
|
A standard loan with principal and interest repayments, but with an interest rate that is fixed for a certain term (generally 1 to 5 years)

Interest Only Loan
|
Similar to a standard loan, but only the interest is required to be paid for a certain term (generally 1 to 5 years). The interest rate can be fixed or variable

Generally only used by property investors, but sometime used by homebuyers needing to reduce their repayments for a period of time

Line of Credit
|
A home loan similar to a credit card which has a set limit the balance can move up and down within. Often all income is paid into the loan while living off a credit card, which is repaid from the loan balance each month

Often used by homebuyers and investors to reduce their mortgage more effectively - but only if used properly
|
